The mission of Kansas Parish Nurse Ministry is serving God through wholistic ministries.

The Goals of the Kansas Parish Nurse Ministry:

To serve as a resource center for any faith community wishing to provide parish nursing/health ministry.
To help foster ownership of and ongoing commitment to the ministry within each congregation or faith community.
To provide monthly programming for nurses involved in health and wellness ministries, increase knowledge, fellowship, and enhance networking among all faith communities.
To promote parish nursing as a ministry through continuing education and programming that meets the needs of the parish nurse and the faith community.
To serve as a community agency resource and to facilitate access to other support and services.
To promote a health and wellness model based on the integration of body, mind and spirit that fosters: Individual responsibility for personal health, enhanced self-care abilities, informed healthcare decision making.
